LizardTales Newsletter - Q3 2007

From The General Manager

Dear Friends of LizardTech,

The annual ESRI User Group Conference has come and gone again. It was great to see so many of you in San Diego while I was there. I always look forward personally to learning what's new in the industry, hearing what's new with our customers, and discovering how we can improve our products and services. This year we had a little extra fun by running two contests, one to see who could show us the biggest collection of the plastic lizards we've been giving away over the years, and a second quizzing attendees on LizardTech facts. Attendees loved participating, especially the two who each won a GPS as winners of the contests. It was so much fun we may do it again next year.

Recently, we launched Express Server 6. We made several major improvements to this workhorse of an image server and a number of minor ones. So far, the customers who are using it have been excited by the new features that make their jobs easier. From the Express Server's demonstration Web site you can see exactly how Express Server 6 looks and how it performs in various sample applications, along with the ways it interoperates with other LizardTech and third-party products to truly serve real-world geospatial workflows. Like all LizardTech products, we built this version of Express Server based on extensive feedback from our customers, so we're eager to hear what you think of it.

Thanks again for helping us finish another successful fiscal year. I look forward to more fun at conferences, more interaction with you, and further improvements to products and services that matter to you.

Best Regards,
Jim White
