We have a number of very large SID files containing aerial photos that we use for backgrounds on projects. We are able to reference the original large SID files into our drawing files and they insert in the correct coordinates, but because of the large size of the SID files they always bog down the drawings.
I have used the free trial version of GeoExpress to crop the SID file to a manageable tiff file of the area and resolution necessary with the correct world file for inserting into our drawings.
Is there a free or inexpensive program that will crop the original SID file into a smaller SID file of the area needed?

You can use GeoExpress Tools, a low cost solution for cropping and editing MrSID and JPEG 2000 files. Here is a trial version:

I figured out the trial version. It appears to work but leaves a watermark on the cropped file.
What is the cost for one copy of the full version?
Is there a server version? If so, how much does it cost per license?
