Rotation of Sids

Postby lavalleurb » Fri Jan 09, 2009 6:55 am

One of our main tasks is to archive historic imagery of the state of Florida, but we are having issues doing so efficiently. We are currently using a high resolution film scanner that will auto-rotate (so north is up) images into .tif format that we then Sid.
The problem occurs in the fact that when many (on the magnitude of thousands of images) were scanned early on in the process they were not rotated, so north is either left, right or down.
We would rather not scan those images again, so is there any way to rotate a Sid and keep its integrity? If there is...is it one at a time or a batch type process?

I'm sorry to say that you can not rotate a SID file in GeoExpress.
