Create a Generation 2 Mosaic from Generation 3 Files

I need to create a Generation2 Mosaic of 100+ Generation3 files. When I go to load the tiles it tells me the format isn't supported. Does anyone have a workaround for this? Is there a way to convert a Generation 3 file to a Generation 2 file that can be batched using GeoExpress?

You can convert a Generation 3 file to Generation 2 as long as it is a single image. Encode a Generation 3 mosaic first, then convert that to MrSID Generation 2.

I am also curious why your project calls for MrSID Generation 2 instead of MrSID Generation 3, if you don't mind sharing.
