Multi Core use?

Postby mrkavanagh » Wed Feb 10, 2010 9:02 am

I am new to geoexpress and I am currently using it to create mosaics. My mosaics average about 200+ tiles averaging over 15gigs. My encoding color tiles to Black and White at a scale 1 to 20.

My question is, does Geoexpress not make use of multiple cores on a cpu? Its currently only making use of 1 core out of 8. I am running Windows XP pro 32bit. Dual Xeon Quad Cores.

Any help is appreciated.

Hello,

Presently GeoExpress is not multi threaded, but you can run multiple instances of the command line and encode multiple jobs at the same time.
