Cutting a Jpg File From Sid By coordinates

Hi
I have a .sid file of a map with coordinates.
I want to build a program that I will give it 2 coordinates(top left and bottom right or something) and it will cut a "jpg" file from that sid file containing just the area I have chosen.

Any Ideas/example codes/ relevant programs?
