Where is GeoJP2 ArcView Plugin?

Postby spinifer » Sun May 23, 2010 2:30 pm

I downloaded some aerial images in JP2 format to use in ArcView 3.2. The site that I downloaded the images from stated the following:

A: If using ArcView 3x you'll first need to install the GeoJP2 ArcView Plugin available from Lizard Tech. Go to w_w_w.lizardtech.com and click on Downloads - Third Party Plug-ins and Updates. Follow the instructions to download the GeoJP2 ArcView Plugin.

I cannot find this file anywhere. A google search yielded no additional information. Is this plug-in still available? If it is, can anyone provide me a direct link. Thanks.

It's right where they say it is but it has a different name and is meant to support MrSID Generation 3. Here is some more information to help you find it:

MrSID AVMrSID.dll

Addresses several viewing issues when viewing .sid within ArcView 3.x, including georeferencing and incorrect placement of .sid with - .sdw file. Also provides support for the MG3 .sid file format. Not supported on ArcGIS.

Latest Release: 04-2005

Windows
