I occasionally get unwanted grid lines in my mosaic or image. My latest issue involved a v3 image that I attempted to reproject and resample from a .5' pixel to a 2.o' pixel. Any ideas or solutions would be appreciated.
Thanks

For resampling, I suggest you use the resample tool in the optimizer. To do this:
1. Images > Add MrSID image to optimize (or press the optimize button)
2. Add your image
3. Press the "More Optimize Options" button on the properties tab
4. Go to the "Optimize Settings" tab
5. check the "Resample image" box and choose the level (4 in this case to go from .5 to 2).
That's all! No grid lines should appear.
Incidently, the reason the grid happens when trying to resample using the reprojector is because the reprojection tool has a block size when processing the image. The default block size is 512, so you probably had blocks of 512x512 separated by the background color (default is black).
If you really needed to use the reprojection tool, you could raise the reprojection block size to exceed the final output width or height.
I hope that helps, and I am sorry for the delay.
