PLEASE HELP

Postby smat » Mon Mar 31, 2008 12:51 pm

I am brand new to Mr SID, in fact I have barely used but find that it is a really neat tool. I was wondering how you change norman jpg pictures into zoomable sid files. I collect old maps and want to take a jpg file of them, save them to my computer, and be able to zoom them and see every detail clearly. IS THIS POSSIBLE AND HOW DO I DO IT?

The software for creating MrSID and JPEG 2000 files is called GeoExpress. You can try this out for free (wth watermarks) by downloading the trial version here:

Please let me know how it goes,
