View Mosaic in ArcMap 10

Is there something I need to do to a mosaic created in GeoExpress in order to be able to view it in ArcMap 10? I can preview the mosaic in GeoExpress but when I try to bring it into ArcMap I get the error, "Invalid raster dataset. Failed to create raster layer." The input sids were generation 2 and I have the mosaic saved as a generation 4 sid file.

Hello,

MrSID Generation 4 is a powerful new format that has just been released. I understand that it will be supported in the next update from ESRI, but is not presently supported.

For now, you can use the MrSID Generation 3 format to view your mosaics in ArcGIS 10.
