Is it possible to convert a color MG3 file to MG2?

I have older Mapinfo software that does not seem to recognize MG3, let alone MG4. This software works fine for me, except for this limitation. I see no plugins or references to address this issue.

Hello,

You can convert an MrSID Gen3 file to MrSID Gen2 within GeoExpress. This works exactly the same as encoding any other image. The MrSID Gen2 file format does have a file size limitation of 2GBs (aim for 1.92GB).

We do not have a plug-in that provides this function.
