There is a way to crop using a polygon in GeoExpress 7 and GeoExpress Tools 7. This crops the boundary of the polygon.

Net yet available is something that will tile out an image based on a polygon. It is a feature we are interested in adding to the next version.

Is it possible to crop with a polygon shapefile during the Optimize option? Or is that feature only available during initial compression?

A multiple polygon shapefile will not crop out to multiple images. It will however make continuous color pixels of the outside of a polygons. For example, say you have two islands and a polygon around each. If you crop, the two islands will remain in a sea of black (by default: 0,0,0), which has been cropped to the extent of the polygons.

Does GeoExpress still work for cropping out multiple images?
