Data Cartridge use per Mosiac process

Postby Carlos Porras » Wed Jan 18, 2012 1:09 pm

When creating a sid flat mosaic from tiff files, does the "target file size" equal "final output file size"? The documentation states that "the amount deducted is equal to the final output file size of the mosaic or the sum of the input tile sizes, whichever is smaller".

Can anyone clarify this?

Thanks,

Hello Carlos,

The Data cartridge is charged based on the input image size of the mosaic. But you are only charged for the valid pixel data, you are not charged for the no-data areas of the image.
