I have a tiff that is 705.4 MB in size and I am trying to convert it into a .sid so that I have a workable file that is much smaller in size. When I attempt to encode the picture, I get the following message:
Input properties:
Input file name: E:\ScanA.tif
Input file type: TIFF
Input image size: 705.4 MB (739644972 bytes)
TIFF: internal error - TIFFReadBufferSetup: E:\ScanA.tif: No space for data buffer at scanline -1 [7349]
An error occurred while encoding

It seems like the TIFF image may be damaged in some way. Can you open it without problems in other applications? Can you preview it in GeoExpress?
It could also be a memory issue. How much RAM do you have available on your system?
