Colours washed out in ArcGIS 9.3 and 10

Created MrSID mosaic no problem, when I view the output in GeoExpress 8.5 the colours look good (Updates Preview tab)
When I add the output to ArcGIS, the images look saturated with light.

Any ideas on settings in Arc or in creating the mosaic that I should try?

Turns out it was a simple setting in ArcGIS. By default the stretch is set to standard deviation. I changed that to None, then the image looked much better.
