I'm using mrsidgeoencoder Version 7.0.0.2052.HEAD (64-bit) (Jan 17 2008, 23:35:16) - I'm trying to create a mosaic with reprojection. I'm taking a bunch of sid files and wanting to mosaic/reproject them in one pass. I can get the operation to work in two passes, no problem, for example
mrsidgeoencoder -i 2227dd.txt -mos -if sid -o 2277dd.sid -of mg3 -cr 10
mrsidgeoencoder -i 2277dd.sid -if sid -o 2277dd_r.sid -of mg3 -cr 10 -fromwkt lo27.wkt -towkt wgs84.wkt -reproresample bicubic -reproerror 0.125 -rbs 512
but as soon as i try combine them with
mrsidgeoencoder -i 2227dd.txt -mos -if sid -o 2277dd.sid -of mg3 -cr 10 -fromwkt lo27.wkt -towkt wgs84.wkt -reproresample bicubic -reproerror 0.125 -rbs 512
it spits out an error
Using local license
Error: Couldn't create input image.
unknown status [54304]
It's using some mg2 files as input, and an mg3 file as output. The wkt reprojection files are all fine - generated from within GeoExpress itself.
Is this a known bug, or am I missing something? Will running the mosaicking operation first, then the reproject impact on image quality in any noticeable way?
Regards
Greg

Mosaic failure
I'm just starting to look at this but it's worth a try to just throw in a "-multires" flag and see if that fixes this problem. I got a similar error setting up my test:
"Error: Couldn't create input image."
which this flag (-multires) fixed.
