Unable to convert sid to jpg

I have MrSid files (gen 4) that I have created via the mrsidgeoencoderu.exe command line tool (cropping out large MrSid files). I now wish to use mrsidgeodecode.exe command line tool to convert these SID files to JPG.

I get Error: Unsupported Colorspace [50402]

If I need to change options on the original crop/encode I can. I ultimately need the jpg output. Both the input and cropped output MrSid files are fine in the viewer. Right now I'm doing lossless encoding when cropping.
