if delete catalog from cat-cfg.xml will index be deleted

If I do the following:
1.) Add a catalog to cat-cfg.xml
2.) Create an index for this catalog.
3.) Update the index for this catalog
4.) Generate an overview for this catalog
5.) Restart Express Server

Later I decide that I no longer need this catalog so if I only delete this catalog from cat-cfg.xml and restart Express Server will this automatically delete both the spatial index and overview - to this catalog?

To delete the index and overview:

stop the web service
delete the catalog folder located in ../ImageServer/var/catalog-data
