Proxy reference not working?

Has anyone been able to get his to work ..
With WMS I can getCapabilities and getMap via a proxyserver.. however in the WMS Capabilities doc itself, it does not give the proxy in this line..

<DCPType><h_t_t_p><Get>
<OnlineResource xlink:href="h_t_t_p://computername_instead_of_proxy_name_returned/lizardtech/iserv/ows" xlink:type="simple"/>
</Get></h_t_t_p></DCPType>


in the cat-cfg.xml I have the following entries

<Property name="wms-onlineresource">h_t_t_p://proxyserver/lizardtech/iserv/ows?service=wms</Property>

<Property name="iserv-response-hostport">proxyserver:80</Property>



Any Suggestions?

The Express Server dynamically generates a capabilities document in response to each GetCapabilities request, unless the file ImageServer/var/wms.capabilities.xml exists.

If this file exists, then it will be sent as a response to the GetCapabilities request.

So you can essentially edit your capabilities document and save it as ../ImageServer/var/wms.capabilities.xml returning the proxy host as you desire.

I was hoping to avoid having to maintain a static capabilities file. I just thought that if those settings were in the cat-cfg then there wouldn't be a need for a static file.
