Hello all, my name is Ben Edwards. :) I work for a large systems integrator. :roll:

The group of developers I work with specializes in creating custom systems to scan, index, search, serve, and preserve documents that fall outside what off-the-shelf software can handle. Think fragile historical documents and large-format maps.

We typically develop .NET WinForms and ASP applications that use the GeoExpress command line encoder, the ExpressView browser plug-in, and ExpressServer.

We actually haven't yet used the GIS features of LizardTech products. We're mainly interested multi-resolution compression and bandwidth-efficient web access to large images.
