ExpressView Browser Plug-In:
Is there any chance that updates or future releases will have the option to save files in SID format? Saving as JPG or BMP is simply not suitable. So many sites use the ExpressView plug-in for very large files, but when you save as JPG or BMP, you only get the portion of the image that is displayed on screen - not the entire image.
I really miss the option to save as SID, which used to be available with the old MrSid plug-in. The new ExpressView Browser Plug-in is useless for image files larger than on-screen viewable area.
I can't imagine why the option to save as SID is no longer available.

Laurie,
Thanks for your question. Frankly, the removal of the ability to save SID files using the ExpressView Browser Plug-in was a strategic decision made a few years ago so that it wouldn't cannibalize sales of GeoExpress Tools.
Input from users such as yourself is important to me, however, so I'll be sure to keep your request in mind when we release the next version of the plug-in.
Thanks,
