cgi wont' display mr. side image only expressview image

Thanks to anyone who can help. I'm trying to display Mr. Sid images using this code
h_t_t_p://procyon.acadiau.ca/ecsmith/cgi-b ... CBU107,sid

only the ExpressView image itself will display in the browser. All browsers I've checked do the same thing. The browser won't look beyond the image.cgi

Any ideas?

I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do. Are you expecting that the browser will display the image without the plug-in? IE and other browsers do not support MrSID directly and require a plug-in to view the files.

Or are you trying to make the full file available for download? You could have people right click on the link and choose "Save As... or "Save target as..."

Have your CGI produce an embed code instead of directly outputing the image.

I tried the embed code. Can't get it to display the image. If I paste the image source into the browser location bar it works for jpeg and tiff files but not for sid files.
This file has the embed code for a jpg - but won't display it
h_t_t_p://library.acadiau.ca/mrSid2.html
however, if I paste the image source in the browser location bar
h_t_t_p://procyon.acadiau.ca/ecsmith/cgi-b ... 15391,jpeg the image will display.
Does not work either way for sid images...

Please disregard last message. Changed embed code to .cgi?item=ECS015391.sid instead of ?ECS015391,sid and it works!
