This is my first time here so pardon if the answer has already been posted-I did a search but didn't turn anything up.
I am trying to extract large sid files to tif using mrsidgeodecode. The program stops and gives an error if the output file will be larger than 4gb. I - this is a 32 bit OS limitation, but I'm running vista 64bit with 9gb of RAM. Is there a way to get around the 4gb limit?
thanks,
Tom

Hello,
It's actually a limitation of the TIFF file format (4 GB). There has been talk of a new version of the TIFF format called BIG TIFF, but I don't know much more than that.
mrsidgeodecode.exe offers cropping parameters. Try "demosaicing" the image or use GeoExpress Tools to demosaic the image graphically.
