SDK and other formats?

I see writer classes for other formats (BMP, TIFF, GeoTIFF, etc).
And I see that mrsidinfo can handle other formats (tif | ras | jpg | nitf | doq | doq_nc | bbb | lan | bmp | img | jp2 | sid)

I am trying to symplify my code as much as I can, and if I could a *ImageReader for all the formats, then it would be much easier to create BIP format images.

'Course it would help if I understood all this stuff anyway :)

I guess I was asking if there was a TIFFImageReader like there is a MrSidImageReader. I didn't think there was, as there isn't a header file.

But since mrsidinfo can handle a TIFF image, I figured there might be some way for ltidsdk to read in TIFF images.....

Yes there are but not available in our DSDK. We recommend using gdal.
