This class is mentioned in the documentation but I don't see it in the sdk. Has this been replaced by another class?

The User Manual appears to be outdated. I appologize for that and have logged a defect accordingly.

You should now use the class:

MrSIDImageReader

This supports all variants of mrsid imagery (MG2/MG3/MG3 composites).

The Reference Manual is correct so check there.
