I updid my SDK decoder to v9 c++ as it seemed we had some occasional memory leak issues. So my upgrade was to Geo_DSDK-7.0.0.2181 I call it from Delphi code.
I tested and worked ok for several sets of varying files. So I thought ok good I can use this new version. However I received a set from a client that are MG3 and most of his files are spewing the following error:
rec->getDataType() == type
lti_metadataAcc.cpp:139
I looked at the file with mrsidinfo and I see that it has some number of metadata records...so do some of the other files that work.
I am not trying to do anything with the metadata that I know of. Is there something I can do to always ignore metadata records...or is there a bug perhaps?
Did the creator of the file do something weird? Is there anything I can look at in more detail.
lti_metadataAcc.cpp error

Try viewing these MrSID images in one of the example viewers distributed with the SDK you downloaded.
You might also want to try decoding these images with mrsiddecode (in the 'bin' directory of the SDK).
Both of these cases should work for you.
