lti_dsdk.dll crashing program on exit (x64)

Postby chrisM » Thu Nov 17, 2011 9:51 am

I have an application that uses the LizardTech MrSID Decode SDK Version 8.0.0. Whenever the program exits it crashes and looking at the dump file it references the lti_dsdk.dll file provided by LizardTech.

The dump file lists the exception code 0xC0000005 with the message "The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access".

An accompanying text file also lists the following: <MATCHING_FILE NAME="lti_dsdk.dll" SIZE="4706816" CHECKSUM="0x768217BD" BIN_FILE_VERSION="8.0.0.3101" BIN_PRODUCT_VERSION="8.0.0.3101" PRODUCT_VERSION="8.0.0.3101" FILE_DESCRIPTION="Geo DSDK" COMPANY_NAME="LizardTech" PRODUCT_NAME="Geo DSDK" FILE_VERSION="8.0.0.3101" ORIGINAL_FILENAME="" INTERNAL_NAME="lti_dsdk_dll.dll" LEGAL_COPYRIGHT="Copyright © 2010" VERDATEHI="0x0" VERDATELO="0x0" VERFILEOS="0x40004" VERFILETYPE="0x1" MODULE_TYPE="WIN32" PE_CHECKSUM="0x0" LINKER_VERSION="0x0" UPTO_BIN_FILE_VERSION="8.0.0.3101" UPTO_BIN_PRODUCT_VERSION="8.0.0.3101" LINK_DATE="12/15/2010 05:27:29" UPTO_LINK_DATE="12/15/2010 05:27:29" EXPORT_NAME="lti_dsdk.dll" VER_LANGUAGE="English (United States) [0x409]" EXE_WRAPPER="0x0" />

Strangely enough, this is only a problem for the x64 version of my program. The 32-bit version does not have this problem. I am using both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the SDK. Has anyone else seen a similar issue?
