Issues with JPEG 200 Decode in MrSID_DSDK-8.4.0.3422
Posted: Thu Jun 14, 2012 5:16 amAfter updating GDAL (1.9.1) to use the newer Raster SDK, JPEG2000 decoding seems to have problems. Results are correct with Unified_DSDK_8.0_linux.x86-64.gcc41, but when using MrSID_DSDK-8.5.0.3422-linux.x86-64.gcc44, output images (from MapServer 6.0.3 via GDAL) have vertical grey stripes. Same results on RHEL 6.0, 6.2, Centos 6.2.
The only difference in the configuration/build of GDAL and MapServer is the switch between the two versions of the LizardTech Raster SDK.
