Geoviewer 4.0 Installation Error

Good Morning,

I have been attempting to install GeoViewer 4.0 as a test but it will not install appropriately. I have both DirectX and .net 3.5 SP1 Installed. When I open the software it errors out.

Here is a dump from the app logs.

Faulting application GeoViewer.exe, version 4.0.1.2578, time stamp 0x4a570a6f, faulting module KERNEL32.dll, version 6.0.6001.18215, time stamp 0x49953395, exception code 0xe0434f4d, fault offset 0x000442eb, process id 0x%9, application start time 0x%10.

OS is Vista 32-bit Ultimate Ed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,
Try to update .net 4.0 after updating, right click on installer that you have downloaded. choose troubleshoot compatibility from the console
then select troubleshoot compatibility check the program work in earlier version of windows click next then select windows xp any service pack click next and run the installer again. it will install correctly.
