GeoV as index to select aerial photography

Postby fmhemmer » Sun Sep 13, 2009 11:11 am

Have created GV projects for color ortho imagery (jp2) files that consist of images and a shp file that is the index grid of the images. Want to be able to select or know the filename or layer, of a particular image by hovering or somehow selecting with the cursor. Can't seem to find the way to do this. Is it possible?

Options > UI Preferences > Layer Boundries > Check "Show Layer Name Tool Tip"

Now when you hover over a layer in the viewer, the tooltip will tell you the name of the layer.

Thank you rparker. GV is a great program!

The program would be even more useful if there was right click functionality what would allow you to manage layers while hovering (on/off/copy/delete... etc.)
