Black line between layers

Postby bob » Mon Feb 15, 2010 3:00 pm

I have 6 orthorectified aerial photos downloaded in mrsid mg2 format,a state agency used geoexpress to produce the raster images. Using geoviewer I changed projection from mt. stateplane nad83, meters, to lat/long wgs84. Then combined all 6 by adding as layers in geoviewer. It appeared to reproject, warp and rotate the images correctly. I will adjust the scale in surfer 9 to eliminate lat/long distortion. The problem is a thin black line is visible between all the seams. After exporting as a geotiff and opening in surfer the line is still visible. Is there a way in geoviewer to eliminate the visible seam.
Thanks Bob

As far as I know there is no way to do that. You may wish to download a trial of GeoExpress (GeoExpress Tools, a low-cost version of GeoExpress). It can help correct seamlines when mosaicing and perform reprojection.
