Resize Window. Want image attached at corner, NOT centered

When I resize the main viewing window, I would like the image to be attached at corner or an edge, NOT centered.

Right now, I get top-left corner positioned where I want it...
Then I grab the bottom-right corner of the entire window and drag it to try to get just the right size.
The whole map moves and I loose the top-left corner that I had where I wanted it. :(

Is there a way to get the image to NOT try to stay centered?
