Multiple SIDs to one output file

Postby aurelius » Tue Jan 10, 2012 6:29 am

Hi, a bit new to geospatial work so please be gentle!

How do I do the above via the command line like I can easily do via the GeoViewer GUI export tool? I've tried: FOR %a IN (dir /b *.sid) DO mrsidgeodecode -i %a -o BIG_JPG.jpg, but that just overwrites the jpg again and again. I don't want to use %a.jpg, since I want one file.

In the end, I need to cut the file up into tiles for use with Bing. If there's a better way, please advise!

Thanks guys!

You could first mosaic the MrSID files using GeoExpress Tools (a low cost version of GeoExpress), then use Tools to output to TIFF, or mrsidgeodecode to output to JPG.
