Hello,
I am using GV 5.5 and am having issues getting local files to place correctly. Specifically, I have SHP files that are native to Washington State North Zone and Washington State South Zone. I have setup two GVP files, one in each zone. I started with a SHP file that uses the native zone for each project, establishing the projection for that GVP, then added orthophoto SID's that are UTM. The North Zone GVP worked great, reading, reprojecting and placing the orthos correctly. The South Zone just won't work. It does not seem to be reading the metadata or something for that ortho. Strangely, that same exact ortho WORKS in the North Zone.

Answer- Do not read World File
Found the answer! I think...
Under Options, Georeferencing Preferences, do not have Read World File Checked. Not sure why, but it works!

More questions PRJ?
Well, while I seem to have resolved the orthophoto reprojection problem, I am having the same issue with digital quad mosaics. I am thinking the following is happening:
The orthophotos are new (2011) and I think the native projection information must be stored in the SID file itself. That is why the world file should not be used.
The digital quads are older, so perhaps the native projection is not stored within the SID. However, even using the SDW file, it does not reproject correctly due to Geoviewer having no idea what the native projection is (UTM 11).
So...how can I get Geoviewer to read something that will convey this information? I tried a PRJ file, but that did not work.
