LizardTech is a Bronze Sponsor at the NSGIC 2009 Annual Conference
SEATTLE, Wash. – October 5, 2009 - LizardTech, a division of Celartem Inc. and a provider of software solutions for managing and distributing geospatial content, is a bronze sponsor at the National States Geographic Information Council (NSGIC) held at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel, October 4-8 in Cleveland, Ohio.
NSGIC is an organization committed to efficient and effective government through the prudent adoption of geospatial information technologies (GIT). Each year NSGIC hosts a fall conference in a host state focused on state and local activities of NSGIC members. The theme of this year’s conference is “Fifty States Rockin’ Solid” and it illustrates NSGIC’s commitment to the nation moving forward together to build the NSDI.
Attendees of the NSGIC Conference will be able to find a product information sheet in their attendee bag on LizardTech’s latest product, LiDAR Compressor. LiDAR Compressor enables users to turn giant point cloud data into efficient MrSID files that retain 100 percent of the raw data at just 25 percent of the file size. Unlike raw LAS or ASCII data, LiDAR files compressed to MrSID are easily managed resources from which derivatives can be extracted over and over again.
