LizardTech Releases Plug-in for ArcGIS Desktop 10

Plug-in adds Support for MrSID Generation 4 Files in Esri Desktop Products

SEATTLE, Wash. – July 11, 2011 - LizardTech®, a division of Celartem Inc. and a provider of software solutions for managing and distributing geospatial content, announced the release of a plug-in for ArcGIS Desktop 10, adding support for MrSID® Generation 4 (MG4) files within Esri desktop products.

LizardTech is exhibiting at the 2011 Esri International User Conference in booth number 1311 in San Diego this week, where conference attendees will be able to learn more about this exciting announcement. “We’re thrilled to provide geospatial professionals with a plug-in that adds support for MG4 files in Esri’s products,” said Jon Skiffington, director of product management. “This provides users with support for multi- and hyperspectral imagery compressed to MrSID format within the applications they use every day.
