GeoExpress
GeoExpress Product Suite
Main UI
GeoExpress supports MrSID Generation 4 (MG4), the latest version of the industry standard MrSID format.
GeoExpress Previewer with Infrared
Through MG4, GeoExpress 9 supports multispectral imagery such as this infrared image being manipulated in GeoExpress' Preview pane.
Alpha Options
GeoExpress 8 supports alpha channels for true control over transparent and opaque areas. The Alpha Options dialog enables users to specify how the alpha band is created.
Band Mapping
The Color Space options in GeoExpress 8 enable users to map any combination of three bands from multispectral imagery to desired bands in their output.
Reproject Image
When an image is marked for reprojection via the Reproject Image checkbox (first dialog box), the Coordinate Reference System Selector becomes available, where recently used systems can be quickly chosen.
Performance Options
CPU and threading options allow you to maximize performance or balance resource usage.
Coordinate Reference System Selector
The Coordinate Reference System Selector enables selection of spatial reference systems, including recently used systems, and well-known text strings or WKTs.
Despeckling Before
Speckling, a corruption of areas outside the valid image data as a result of prior compression, is visible in the collar of this image when viewed in ESRI ArcMap.
Despeckling After
After despeckling in GeoExpress, this image is ready for mosaicking with other images. The restored areas outside of the valid image data in the despeckled collar can be treated as transparent.

LiDAR Compressor
User Interface
LiDAR Compressors user interface is simple and intuitive. Files are loaded on the left as jobs. Tabs on the right display file information (Properties), the data itself (View), or the session log (Output). A context menu enables you to run, cancel or delete selected jobs.
Text Parsing
LiDAR Compressor provides an easy way to to map columns of LiDAR data in your text LiDAR files to common fields in the LAS specificaton. You can even create your own fields for other data.
Properties Tab
The Properties tab shows information such as number of points, extents of the data in x, y and z values, and a well known text string if one is present. This tab enables you to specify compression parameters and the name and destination of your output file.
Custom Fields
If your file includes custom fields (data in fields not included in the LAS specification), you can create custom fields for that data and specify their data type and bit width. Custom fields show up at the bottom of the Available fields list.
