The Preferred Data Provider Program stands for "High Quality Imagery." All Preferred Data Providers are independent data providers dedicated to delivering consistently high quality geospatial imagery.
Using GeoExpress, the most advanced geospatial wavelet imaging technology available, Preferred Data Providers are able to deliver imagery in MrSID Generation 3 (MG3) and JPEG 2000 formats to consistently meet DoD as well as state and local government image standards.
