A080102 - Error cropping with vector overlay that has overlapping polygons

Products:

GeoExpress 7 and later

Summary:

Using a vector overlay that has overlapping polygons to crop your input image causes the following error when encoding:

Internal error in GEOS [51412]. Failed to get binary mask.

Solution:

Create a buffer vector overlay based on your original vector overlay. For example, you can use the buffer operation In Esri’s ArcMap to unite these overlapping rectangles to produce a simple shape file, which then can be used as expected.

Status:

This is a known issue that may be addressed in a future release.
