F070302 - How do I obtain a locking code for GeoExpress?
To obtain a locking code for a standalone version of GeoExpress:
When you run GeoExpress for the first time, a locking code is displayed.
To obtain a locking code on a license server:
Using the Start menu:
- Open Start > (All) Programs > LizardTech > License Server > License Server Tools & Utilites. The License Server Tools & Utilitis directory opens.
- Open the file wechoid.exe (Unix: run echoid and save the codes reported).
- Clear all checkboxes except for Ethernet Address.
- Your selector should read “0x10″. Your code appears to the right.
- Please note your selector and code for later use in obtaining a license.
Using the command line:
- Open a command line window (Start > Run > cmd) and run the change directory (cd) command to access the License Server Tools and Utilities Directory, which by default is located at: “C:/Program Files (x86)/LizardTech/LicenseServer/bin”.
- Run echoid.exe.
- Please note your locking codes.
