A060409 - Installing a floating license using WlmAdmin

You may use WlmAdmin to install a floating license.

To install a floating license using WlmAdmin:

  1. Access WlmAdmin by selecting Start > All Programs > LizardTech > License Server > WlmAdmin. (In older versions of GeoExpress navigate to the License Server Tools folder. This is located by default at:
    C:/Program Files/LizardTech/LizardTech License Server/Tools 
    and is available on your start menu at
    Start > All Programs > LizardTech > License Server > License Server Tools & Utilities.)
  2. Run the WlmAdmin.exe program.
  3. Click the plus sign next to “Subnet servers”.
  4. Right-click on your server and select Add Feature > From a String > To Server and its File (in older versions of GeoExpress select Add Feature > From a String). The “Add feature to server and license file” dialog appears (“Add feature to server” dialog in older versions).
  5. Paste the license code you received from LizardTech into the License code box. (In older versions, select the Add feature to server’s file checkbox.)
  6. Click Add.
