A080101 - Progress meter appears to hang after publishing

Summary:

When the progress meter reaches 100% in publishing images to Express Server, nothing appears to happen for some time.

Cause:

The progress meter reaches 100% as soon as the data has finished posting; however, the server spends an additional amount of time – sometimes as much as 30% of the original period – processing the data and moving it to the target catalog. Once the image has been uploaded to the server, no progress information is available to report, which gives the impression that the publishing operation is hung.

Solution:

The operation is not hung, but it may take several seconds or minutes to finish depending on the size and number of the images being published.

Status:

This is a known issue that may be addressed in a future release.
