Hardware
- 3GHz Intel processor with 4 or more cores
- 8GB RAM (16GB recommended)
- 500MB disk space for installation
- Gigabit Ethernet or faster connection for remote imagery
Processor and RAM requirements are minimum recommendations. In general, “more” and “faster” are desirable when contemplating these system resources.
More disk space is needed for image storage, and temporary disk space is needed during image processing. The amount of disk space required depends on your images. Large disk caches and a fast hard drive or SSD or hybrid drive will improve application performance.
Windows

Note:
Express Server on Windows requires Internet Information Services (IIS).
Express Server supports the following 64-bit versions of Windows Server:
- Windows Server 2012 with IIS 8.0
- Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 with IIS 7.5
Linux

Express Server on Linux requires Apache Web Server 2.0.x, 2.2.x, or 2.4.x.
