Download GeoExpress 64-bit – The standard installation of GeoExpress. This is what most users need to install. (This exe file is 160 MB.)
Download GeoExpress 32-bit – The 32-bit version of GeoExpress.  If you have a 32-bit operating system you need this version. (This exe file is 160 MB.)
Download the GeoExpress ISO – This includes GeoExpress, command line tools, license server, GeoViewer, ExpressView Browser Plug-In, ECM server, and Linux installations. (This ISO file must be burned to a DVD before running and the file download is 1.7GB.)

 

Instructions for current GeoExpress 9.5 or 9.5.1 users:

  1. Click here to download GeoExpress. (This file is 160 MB.)
  2. Once it is downloaded, click Setup.exe to start the installation process.
  3. Select the Update option on the installer to install the new version. The GeoExpress installer no longer needs to uninstall the current version.
  4. When completed click “Finish”. GeoExpress is now updated.

 

Instructions for GeoExpress 9.1 and earlier:

Note that GeoExpress now requires a new serial number in addition to a license code. The serial number is included in your purchase confirmation email.

  1. Uninstall your current version of GeoExpress in the control panel. Do notuninstall the cartridge manager if you have one installed.  If the uninstall tool prompts you to restart the computer at this point make sure you restart before proceeding to installing the new version!
  2. Click here to download GeoExpress. (This file is 160 MB.)
  3. Once it is downloaded, click Setup.exe to start the installation process.
  4. When installing GeoExpress read the License Agreement. To accept the license agreement and continue the installation, select “I accept the terms of the license agreement” and click “Next”.
  5. Enter the serial number provided in your purchase confirmation email and click “Next”. If you do not know the serial number you can select the Trial Mode checkbox and manually enter it after the installation.
  6. Choose a destination folder for files to be installed or use the default directory and click “Next”.
  7. When completed click “Finish”. GeoExpress is now updated.
  8. If you did not have the serial number during installation, open GeoExpress and go to Options > Licensing to enter your serial number. Review the serial number knowledgebase article if you need assistance.

 

Note to floating license users: This upgrade is for client-side installations only. No action is necessary on the license server for this release. If you have a commuter license checked out make sure to check it in before the upgrade!
