How to obtain a Locking Code from the GeoExpress :License Server on a Windows Computer

1. Install the GeoExpress License Server

Ensure the GeoExpress License Server is installed on the machine that will host the license. Complete the installation and verify that the installation completes successfully. You can download it from https://www.lizardtech.com/download

2. (OPTIONAL)Start the License Server Service

Open the Services manager (Windows)  and confirm that the GeoExpress License Server service is running.  By default, it should be running. 

3. Launch the License Server Utility

  After installation, the License Server should start automatically.

If it does not, search for “Add License Server” on the Windows computer and launch the application from the search results.

If this still does not work, navigate toC:\Program Files (x86)\LizardTech\LicenseServer\bin\ltaddlic.exe

and double-click ltaddlic.exe to launch the License Server utility.

4. Copy the locking code

Copy the licensing code and email it to info@geowgs84.com.
