Should I Reproject Before Mosaicking Imagery?

The best workflow is to perform the mosaicking and reprojection at the same time, as this will prevent artifacts from occurring between tiles in most situations.


However, if the input images are in different coordinate systems, GeoExpress automatically reprojects each input tile to the output coordinate system before the mosaic, which may result in artifacts between tiles. In this case, you should re-project the images before you mosaic them.
